Therapy in Indianapolis That Goes Deeper Than Coping

Indianapolis is a city of people who show up, work hard, hold it together, and keep moving… often long past the point when their nervous system has been quietly asking them to slow down.

At Circle City Alliance Therapy & Consulting, we work with Indianapolis adults who are ready to stop managing their symptoms and start understanding what's actually driving them. Whether you're navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, addiction, or a complicated mix of all of the above, this is a space where the full picture of who you are is welcome.

Our office is located at 3901 W. 86th Street, Suite 350 in Northwest Indianapolis, convenient to the Carmel border, the Zionsville corridor, and the north side of the city. Free parking is available on site.

We also offer telehealth sessions throughout Indiana, Ohio, and Florida — so if getting to the office is difficult, therapy doesn't have to wait.

  • Our work is grounded in the belief that healing has to happen at the level where the problem actually lives — not just in your thoughts, but in your nervous system and your body.

🔹 Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy — for clients who have tried everything and need a different kind of door to open

Frequently Asked Questions About Therapy in Indianapolis

Everything you want to know before reaching out.

The first session is an intake: a chance for us to get to know each other before any deeper work begins. I'll ask some background questions about what brought you in, what's been going on, and a bit of your history. You set the pace. You don't have to tell me everything in the first session, and you don't have to go to the hard stuff right away. By the end, we'll have a sense of whether we're a good fit and what working together might look like. There's no paperwork to fill out in session. Everything comes through SimplePractice beforehand so we can spend our time on you.
Start with a free 15-minute consultation: just a conversation to see if CCA Therapy feels like the right fit. You can book directly through our contact page, or call or text us at (317) 360-5864. If you'd rather send an email first, reach out at admin@ccatherapy.com. Once we've connected and agreed to move forward, I'll send you intake paperwork through SimplePractice and we'll schedule your first full session.
CCA Therapy is a private pay practice, meaning we don't bill insurance directly. Individual therapy sessions are $150. Because we are an out-of-network provider, we can provide a superbill upon request, which you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement depending on your plan. We also provide a Good Faith Estimate before beginning treatment. For full fee information, visit our Billing page.
We do not bill insurance directly. However, many clients with PPO plans are able to receive partial reimbursement by submitting a superbill to their insurance provider. We recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card and asking about your out-of-network mental health benefits before scheduling. We're happy to answer any questions you have about this process.
Both. In-person sessions are available at our office at 3901 W. 86th Street, Suite 350 in Northwest Indianapolis. Telehealth sessions are available for clients throughout Indiana, Ohio, and Florida via a secure video platform. Some clients prefer in-person for the co-regulation and warmth of being in the room. Others prefer the comfort and convenience of virtual. We can talk through what makes most sense for you.
We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee. Life happens and we try to be reasonable, but consistent notice helps us keep the practice running well for everyone. Full details are in our practice policies, which you'll receive before your first appointment.
Warm, direct, and genuinely present. Clients consistently say they feel safe and seen often from the very first session. The office is designed to feel comfortable and unhurried rather than clinical. There's a coffee and tea bar, warm lighting, and a relaxed environment where you can exhale. Ethany has a sense of humor that shows up naturally in sessions. Healing doesn't have to be serious all the time. And if you'd like some extra comfort, Kix our certified therapy dog is available to join.
Yes, fully and without reservation. CCA Therapy is a welcoming, affirming space for LGBTQIA+ clients. All identities, orientations, and expressions are respected here. You will not be asked to justify who you are, and you will not encounter judgment from the intake process through every session after.
There's no universal answer. It depends on what you're working through and what your goals are. Some clients come in for a specific issue and feel significant relief in a relatively short period. Others work through more complex, layered experiences over several months. What I can tell you is that Brainspotting and somatic approaches tend to move faster than traditional talk therapy alone. We'll talk about pacing and what feels right for you as we go. There's no pressure to stay longer than is useful, and no pressure to rush.
We're located at 3901 W. 86th Street, Suite 350 in Northwest Indianapolis, conveniently close to Carmel and Zionsville. Free parking is available directly in front of the building. The building has an accessible entrance and elevator access to Suite 350. If you have any trouble finding us on your first visit, don't hesitate to call or text (317) 360-5864.
